At The Caring Place it is our goal to make sure no one goes hungry. We serve two meals a day seven days a week to the public. You are welcome to come and join us for a hot and delicious home cooked meal. Our meals are lovingly prepared by our Food Services Manager and his wonderful staff. Food Services & Catering

Caring Place Catering
The Caring Place would love to cater your next event. From weddings to special luncheons, our first class food service team is here to help. Qualified staff, volunteers and residents take part in our program. For our residents and clients, this provides them with a sense of purpose and responsibility, giving them an insight into the ministry of The Salvation Army and at the same time teaches them a useful life skill. Interaction with the general public improves self- esteem and confidence, leading them to a possible career in the Hospitality Industry. |

Our Food Services Manager, Tim Sarsfield, is supported by his great kitchen team of Donna Martyn and Jason Maclean.
- Donna is a fully qualified Chef and was working as a cook at the Abbey in Mission for over 20 years before joining us in Dec 2008.
- Jason, our Kitchen Assistant, is a great asset to us. His heart is to give back to others, helping those in need as they rebuild their lives.
